Q1. Where is the place of origin?

All products are manufactured in Taiwan, imported to and sold in the UK or Europe through legal process.

Q2. When do I receive the delivery once ordered?

Delivery is expected to within 3-5 days for the UK (excluding islands) and 1-8 weeks in other european countries.

Q3. When should I make the order?

We recommend placing the orders 2-3 months prior to the due date, as early as possible.

Q4. Why should I make the pre-order?

Stock in overseas site tends to fluctuate from month to month. Ordering in advance will secure your products of choice to avoid out-of-stock.

Q5. Which courier do you use?

We use Royal Mail for small parcels <2kg and Parcelforce for large parcels >2kg.

Q6. Can I try your products before buying?

Q7. Can I return the unwanted products?

Orders can be cancelled and fully refunded without before the parcels are dispatched. Unopend products (with the plastic membrane sealed) can be returned to us with customers' cost. Once the products arrived and being checked for the conditions, partial refund according to the proportion of returend will be processed accordingly.

Q8. Do I have to cook the herbal meals myself?

We recommend adding fresh ingredients to cook with the herbal soup base. Bring the pot to a boil and simmer for 3-5 minites.

Q9. Do you have vegetarian meals?

All Comfort Herbal Soup Bases are vegan/vegetarian. You can cook with any ingredients such as vegetables, tofu, or plant-based meat alternatives.

Q10. What ingredients can I add to the Comfort Herbal Soup Bases?

We provide simple recipes with your order with suggestions for suitable ingredients for each soup base.

Q11. Do I have to cook or brew the Herbal Teas?

All Taste For Life Herbal Teas are in liquid form and ready-to-drink. No cooking or brewing is needed.

Q12. What is Glutinous Rice Water?

Glutinous Rice Water uses glutenous rice and water sourced from Eastern Taiwan with fermentation and extraction process with rice koii to create a water rich in essential amino acid and minerals. It replaces traditional used of rice wine without alcohol for breastfeeding and all new mums.

Q13. Can I cook Comfort Herbal Soup Base without Glutinous Rice Water?

Our "Comfort Meal Taster Box" and "Comfort Herbal Meal - Budget Plan" do not include Glutinous Rice Water. Please use 200ml water to replace Glutinous Rice Water

Q14. Can pregnant women use your products?

Imperial Red Jujube Tea, Black Bean Water, Gan-Lu Soup, and Mai-Dou Soup are suitable for pregnant women.

Q15. Do I store the Herbal Meals in the fridge or freezer?

Specialized packaging is used to researve our food products in room temperature. No need to refrigerate before opening.

Q16. Do the herbal meals contain preservatives to be stored in room temperature?

The manufacture process used high temperature, high pressure to sterilize and sealed in vacuum state. No preservative is used.

Q17. How much is the delivery?

Orders over £100 are free delivery in the UK. Difference in postal will be charge for other European Countries. Please contact our customer service team to help you estimate the additional cost.
